Reusable nappies aka cloth nappies Disposable nappies are a huge source of waste in a household with young children and are the single largest contributor to landfill in the world! - In the UK, 8 million disposable nappies are binned every day. Reusable nappies are super efficient, comfortable and not to mention and economical.
Our washable nappies but Little Lamb are super soft and absorbent alternative to the single use nappy . Whether you want to go for an all-in-one (recommended for night-time) or a two part nappy , we stock both super soft bamboo and organic cotton with the outer waterproof layer in subtle parent friendly colours. We also stock washable fleecy liners in double and the elusive triple thickness, along with nappy bags and pails as an alternative to the plastic nappy bucket so you can keep them hooked up away from prying hands.
Reusable wipes Reduce your reliance on single use wet wipes disposable wipes altogether so maybe you could start using reusable wipes when you are at home. Did you know, wet wipes plastic (and cause up to 93% blockages in UK drains..look up 'fatberg') and can cause huge problems for wildlife in rivers, beaches and sea beds. The more you ditch = less plastic .
Reusable wipes are super handy for all of those messy moments. Super absorbent, textured and durable, meaning they can be washed over and over again. When you're out they can be transported in a sealable tin/box and they can be kept damp/fresh with some water a couple drops of essential oil. They can be used for bums, hands or faces to reduce your plastic footprint .
Baby SoapsA zero waste alternative to bubble bath, shower gel or baby wash in a plastic bottle . Our baby soaps are certified safe from newborn. They are allergen free and with no essential oils so it is wonderful for babies, children and the most sensitive skin. Our pure castile soap bar is multi-purpose too and can be used as a body soap and shampoo bar , either as a bar or make into liquid soap first! Baby BalmsOur baby balms are organic and unrefined with natural nutrients meaning they are perfect for sensitive skin. They are created for the whole family too and uses include speeding up healing time (especially for Mum ), acting as a barrier cream for those sore bottoms, and providing relief to itchy dry skin and eczema. We also love using the balm for extra dry skin or sun-burn.
Skincare We believe that less and natural is better for kids skin. Herbal waters and oils can be used to help with skin inflammations, nappy rash and cradle cap. Our super soft konjac sponges are ideal for gentle cleansing, peeling and massage of your babies skin. Unlike sea sponges, konjac sponges are ethically sourced and derived from the konjac plant root and therefore vegan .
First Aid Our wound care strips by Patch Plasters are hypoallergenic and perfect for those with sensitive skin and so great for kids. Made with soft, organic bamboo fabric and gauze with hypoallergenic Pressure Sensitive Adhesive (PSA). They are enriched with coconut oil in the gauze to help soothe minor abrasions and provide long lasting support for sensitive skin. Free from irritating chemicals. Kids Dental Care We stock a complete range of zero waste and natural dental products from vegan dental floss, fluoride toothpaste tablets, mouthwash and bamboo toothbrushes including a kids specific range. Our kids bamboo toothbrush are a tiny scaled down version of our best selling Truthbrush with soft bristles (perfect for children under the age of about 8). We've founds kids prefer our Mandarin coconut oil based toothpaste or our best selling Ben & Anna natural toothpaste in a glass jar .
For Mum We have carefully selected a handful of products suited for Mum and her amazing body! Our bump balm can be used during or after pregnancy and out Oh So Balms are for the whole family including Mum . Eating Out Reducing your plastic consumption for meal-times is one of the hardest areas. You can reduce plastic packaging vegan wax wraps but food on-the-go is much harder. Packed lunches are the best option so you can use your own containers, wraps, pouches and cutlery. Our lunchboxes are good for all ages, silicone bags are super handy for all types of food from sandwiches, to chopped fruit and nuts and we stock cute bamboo sporks and smaller reusable bottles for little ones .
Muslins and comforters
All of our muslins are made from organic cotton and/or bamboo . They can be used for nappies, swaddling, burping, as a lightweight baby blanket, shielding when breastfeeding, crib sheet, changing mat cover, shade, play mat, bath towel etc. We also sell smaller cloths and larger swaddling blankets alongside organic cotton comforters and teethers.
