Say goodbye to plastic bin bags!

A 100% biodegradable bin bag for eco-friendly waste disposal.

Our 50L biodegradable bin bags by Zero Waste Club are big enough for most kitchen bins. These bags are just as strong and leak-proof as plastic bin liners but will break down. Although what's inside the bag may be going to landfill, the bag is one less thing that will last 'forever'. Use these biodegradable bags for your kitchen waste or compostable waste. These bags are completely biodegradable and will even breakdown in your home compost.

Whenever plastic bags ends up on the ground or in composting facilities, they contaminate the soil and breaks down into microplastics which releases toxins and degrade the quality of soil and you don't want that!

  • Contents: 25 bags.
  • Bag Size: 65cm x 59cm flat.
  • 50 litre capacity.
  • Extra strong, leak-proof with gathered base.
  • 100% biodegradable and compostable, made from cornstarch.
  • Suitable for home composting.
  • Tree planted for every pack sold.

  • Approved for food waste composting with most councils.
  • Comes in a 100% recycled Kraft wrap, which is 100% recyclable.

Please use the biodegradable bin bags within a year. As they will start to disintegrate and break down after one year.

The bin bags were made in a factory in the Guangdong province in China. The minimum wage in the province is 1,720 RMB per month. However, the minimum wage paid at the production facility is 1,800 RMB per month, which is equivalent to £198.37 a month. The workers work 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. Workers are given time off for holidays based on China's Labor laws. To ensure the health and safety for their works, the factory gives annual health checks and provides good food, fruits and vegetables to the workers through their factory canteen. The workers also have a union, and their feedback is highly valued by the company. The bin bags are shipped via sea freight to minimise the carbon footprint of each product.
