We love this educational book as it's very digestible and engaging with many prompts on how kids can take action and encourage others, even parents! The illustrations are beautiful and grown up. he book has also been made using eco-friendly paper and inks (FSC paper). All royalties from the sale of this book will be donated to ClientEarth.
We always look to see if books are friendly and compatible to a vegan lifestyle. This book is mostly vegan-friendly however it does include the following, a lard-based homemade bird feed, a homemade hair conditioner with honey and egg and using food waste to make a pizza with cheese, This are only tiny suggestions over 128 pages. . It does touch upon overfishing but does not dismiss eating fish altogether. It does however encourage eating veggie and visiting vegetarian and vegan restaurants.
